We should know. We’ve got six kids between us. Who are we, you ask? Well, Ashley Adamson is the lead host and reporter for the Pac-12 Network and has been for a decade. A storyteller and communicator by trade, Adamson is humbled daily by her two young children who rarely listen to a word she says. Lisa McCaffrey was an English major and standout on the Stanford women’s soccer team. She’s married to former NFL receiver Ed McCaffrey and together they have four adult sons, all of whom still play or coach football. Her second oldest—NFL All Pro running back Christian McCaffrey—is her only college dropout.

So yeah, we’re moms, and yeah, it’s hard. And honestly, sometimes you wonder, how is this little person going to turn out? Sometimes with all the pressure, the lack of sleep, and keeping everyone’s schedules straight, you wonder, “Am I even doing this right?”
